Client: Switzerland Toerism | Project: Art Presstrip for interactive pop-up galleries
Together with 4 Instagram photographers, I was assigned to show spectacular Switzerland to be a first-class holiday destination, all year round. My mission was to promote autumn in the region of Lucerne on my Instagram account @claireonline, together with a takeover of the @myswitserland account. Next to that, in this unique campaign, people could now also like and share Instagram photos offline during a Pop-Up Gallery at NS Central Station in Utrecht and the Central station in Antwerp. The Instagram photos were exhibited in functional installations with the same functionalities as the social media platform, without being connected to the internet. A special audio tour, recorded by the Instagram photographers, gave more background information about the photos and the various locations where they were taken. Visitors were able to 'like' the images offline by pressing in the shape of a heart. A red lit heart appeared in the photo and the number of likes increased by one. The photos could be shared with postcards to have a chance of winning a tour of Switzerland. Find out more about the campaign in Dutch here.
