For me, it was the perfect way to stay free of noise and focus on something I am very passionate about: Photography. That is how it all started for me. In this Silence Photography Course, I would like you to experience the same. I would like to teach you how to focus on what is important by photographing simplicity in nature. Capturing the feeling invoked by the places that have a certain tranquillity and where remoteness stands out. With the use of a minimalistic style which is essential in capturing a distinguishing Silence, I will help you create these tranquil images. About me:
I am a Dutch Photographer and Visual Artist based in Rotterdam. The trademark in my work has a focus on serenity, simplicity and silence.
I have a fascination for remote places and desolate landscapes and my aim is to capture the essence of natural elements in a unique way.
My focus on minimalistic subjects combined with my unique editing style results in a signature of images that have a dreamy, ethereal look.
Within my work, I would like to leave a positive, emotional impact that inspires others.

Showcasing some beautiful places from all over the world, my work demonstrates how many places on earth are home to an abundance of opportunities to capture the quintessential feeling of silence within the unique, diverse and interesting landscapes the world has to offer. Looking at these photos gives us a feeling of wanting to immerse in the relaxing tranquillity that only the closeness to nature can provide. Within my Silence series, I use mood and tones to focus on the characteristics of certain locations. I feature a mix of scenes in different lighting conditions that produce varying hues, textures and moods, yet all do bring a feeling of peacefulness and calm, just as all these series intended. What level of experience is required to join this course?
You don’t have to be a professional photographer, and neither do you need an expensive camera. In this course, you will mainly learn to use your creative eye!
Can I watch these courses offline?
Videos are currently not downloadable. There are various reasons for this but the main reason is that the files are large because all the content is available in high resolution video. Please email me at info@claireonline.nl if you need any lectures for online use anyway.
What camera do I require to join this course?
You can use the camera you have! Whether it is your smartphone or a DSLR. In this course, I will tell you all about the creative process of capturing the moment and I will give you further detail on the tools you could use for that.
Do I need a Mac or a PC?
You could use both, but this course will mainly focus on basic editing skills in Adobe Lightroom on a Mac. A smartphone could work as well!
Will this course be outdated in a while?
Certainly not. All the techniques used in this course will be timeless. I will update this course on a regular base! You will receive notifications after updating and will have lifetime access to those updates as well!
