About me:

I’m Claire, a Dutch nature and travel photographer based in Rotterdam. After years of exploring remote landscapes, capturing minimal scenes and collaborating with brands such as Apple, Canon, BMW and KLM, I’m building a new course that goes deeper both visually and emotionally. Showcasing some beautiful places from all over the world, my work demonstrates how many places on earth are home to an abundance of opportunities to capture the quintessential feeling of silence within the unique, diverse and interesting landscapes the world has to offer. Looking at these photos gives us a feeling of wanting to immerse in the relaxing tranquillity that only the closeness to nature can provide. Within my Silence series, I use mood and tones to focus on the characteristics of certain locations. I feature a mix of scenes in different lighting conditions that produce varying hues, textures and moods, yet all do bring a feeling of peacefulness and calm, just as all these series intended.   • You don’t have to be a professional photographer, and neither do you need an expensive camera. In this course, you will mainly learn to use your creative eye!

  • Videos are currently not downloadable. There are various reasons for this but the main reason is that the files are large because all the content is available in high resolution video. Please email me at info@claireonline.nl if you need any lectures for online use anyway.

  • You can use the camera you have! Whether it is your smartphone or a DSLR. In this course, I will tell you all about the creative process of capturing the moment and I will give you further detail on the tools you could use for that.

  • You could use both, but this course will mainly focus on basic editing skills in Adobe Lightroom on a Mac. A smartphone could work as well!

  • Certainly not. All the techniques used in this course will be timeless. I will update this course on a regular base! You will receive notifications after updating and will have lifetime access to those updates as well!
