A genesis three-part collection by Claire Droppert x cp collectives
This release marks a true first for SuperRare as it will be the first-ever collaboration between Claire Droppert and CP Collectives, a pioneering community-driven project focused on finding new and innovative ways to transcend the current limitations of digital art and photography. The launch consists of a trilogy of works: 'Our Strong Red Lalibela’ (Onze Sterke Rode Lalibela), ‘Our Cheerful White Daffodils' (Onze Vrolijke Witte Narcissen)’ and ‘Our Peaceful Blue Orientalis' (Onze Vredige Blauwe Orientalis). Each individual work has its own story and deep-rooted symbolism inspired by the Dutch national flag. These digital three pieces follow on from Claire’s original ‘Dutch Flower Power Series’ and officially be the next works in the series.
The GRAVITY FLOWER POWER digital release will act as an evolution to this prior series, taking inspiration from gravity, the most powerful natural force in the universe. This lens on the subject enabled CP and Claire to collaboratively create three works that capture the imagination of the viewer by suspending freshly cut flowers in zero gravity. The idea of gravity rhymes with the idea of elements like light and wind and how they impact the world around us. Her Gravity Sand Creatures I & II series was based on that, and with this successive Gravity series, she found a strong and colourful way to illustrate these omnipotent natural forces as they play such a key role in the daily lives of Dutch individuals.
The series pays tribute to Dutch culture as this is where the compositions were taken, and we wanted to celebrate the beauty of this country. To capture the images, Claire spent weeks venturing out to various locations near Lisse, situated in the ‘Duin en Bollenstreek’ region which is renowned for Tulips. Each of the flowers for the series was chosen meticulously to ensure that the compositions were perfect. Therefore, on behalf of CP Collectives and Claire Droppert, we hope you enjoy these works and find some time to appreciate the beauty around you.

This exciting release marks the first of three original digital artworks that compel the viewer to reflect on the power and beauty of nature while celebrating Dutch national heritage. This first digital artwork is a composition of images that were captured in the west region of the Netherlands, an incredible location for discovering bold and beautiful flowers.
Red, the colour of the Lalibela, has associations with a wide range of symbolic meanings – love, war, vigour and life. All of these connotations have deep historic roots reflected by the top colour of the Dutch national flag and flower, the tulip. To celebrate this history, the freshly cut Red Lalibela is suspended in zero gravity, thereby encouraging viewers to admire the true beauty of these flowers while also considering the deeper symbolic meaning behind them.
This exciting release marks the second of three original artworks that compel the viewer to reflect on the power and beauty of nature while celebrating Dutch national heritage. This second artwork is a composition of images that were captured in the west region of the Netherlands, an incredible location for discovering bold and beautiful flowers.
White, the colour of the Narcis, has associations with a wide range of symbolic meanings – isolation, purity, and simplicity. For Dutch people, white is a colour emblazon on the national flag, but it also reminds locals of the cheerful daffodils which sway quietly in the fields. In this piece, the daffodils are suspended in zero gravity to help people see that there is a real serenity, clarity, and cheerfulness to nature that most people never take the time to fully appreciate.
This exciting release marks the third and final original artwork that compels the viewer to reflect on the power and beauty of nature while celebrating Dutch national heritage. The third and final artwork in this series is again a composition of images that were captured in the west region of the Netherlands, an incredible location for discovering bold and beautiful flowers. For Dutch people,
Blue, the colour of Dutch Orientalis Hyacinths, has a strong symbolic association to physical beauty like the sky and the sea to emotions like trust and freedom. This flower completes the trilogy of works by representing the final colour on the Dutch national flag. Blue Orientalis Hyacinths are symbolic of sorrow, forgiveness, and spirituality. Therefore, this final work encourages viewers to reflect on the beauty of life around them and to have gratitude for everything that friends, family, and their ancestors have done for them.
